Bishop Orlando Findlayter was born in Colón, Republic of Panamá. He is the founder and Senior Pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship, located in Brooklyn, New York. A church with ministries that extends beyond the four walls of the building and impacts the community with the Word as well as through educational and social programs.  Bishop Findlayter dedicates his time and energy to building the church and the community. He is an advocate and speaks for those who often are not able to speak for themselves.

 

 

 

Bishop Findlayter is a Member of SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s Community Advisory board, LaSante Health Center Community Advisory, and Healthfirst Interfaith Advisory Board.

Bishop Findlayter completed his undergraduate studies at Nyack College and has earned a Master of Professional Studies in Urban Ministry from Alliance Theological Seminary.

He presently serves as the Bishop of the Northeast Region for the United Covenant Churches of Christ and a General Board Member.

Bishop Findlayter is the proud father of three beautiful daughters: Raisa, Jessica and Racqulle.
