Edwin Pitti
Edwin Pitti is a 17-time Emmy Award-winning Panamanian journalist with over 14 years of experience. He serves as a national correspondent for Televisa Univision in Washington, D.C., covering the White House, Congress, and federal government. Recognized as one of the most trusted political voices in Hispanic media, Pitti was recently awarded his second National Emmy for contributions to Noticiero Univision.
Previously, he covered the Obama and Trump administrations as a White House correspondent and helped launch North Carolina's first Spanish-language newscast. Throughout his career, Pitti has reported from major U.S. cities and covered pivotal events, including the January 6th Capitol insurrection, Trump’s impeachment trials, the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Black Lives Matter protests, and several national disasters. His work on military families issues has earned recognition from First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and President Joe Biden has chosen Pitti’s news segment to exclusively address the Hispanic community on key topics.
