Guillermo Pascal has been honored to lead The Carlito's Wish Foundation (CWF) as president, in the fulfillment of its mission, for the last six years.
Under his leadership, CWF has continued to expand its reach in the communities and with medical institutions. In recognition of a further need, CWF has recently created an educational fund (The Doris Brewster Educational Fund) to support special needs children.
CWF was formed as a 501(c) charitable organization in 1994, in New York City, to grant wishes to children suffering from life-threatening illnesses of families in financial need (deprived socioeconomic condition), and memorialize Carlos M.L. Ottley, who died of leukemia.
Guillermo has been an active member of CWF for the last 28 years. Guillermo migrated to the USA over forty years ago. He obtained his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. Management Information System from the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury. After 27 years of dedicated service, he retired from the MTA, Dept. of Buses, as Director of Management Systems.
Guillermo is a vestry member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church. Bound Brook, New Jersey, and President of Perla Realty, LLC. in Brooklyn. His saying is: When you are young, you play the numbers. When you are
old, you manage them, referring to one's advanced age The Pandemic has been a challenge to all, but with his leadership, The Carlito's Wish Foundation has not stopped fulfilling its mission.
He resides in Somerset, New Jersey, with his wife, Doris. They have one son, a special needs teacher in New Jersey.
