
ELIAS M. LEVY C.
CONSUL GENERAL OF PANAMA IN NEW YORK
Mr. Levy born in the Republic of Panama on November 11, 1968.
Attained his lawyer degree from the Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, revalidated the Argentinian Degree in the Republic of Panama with Law and Political Science Degree from the University of Panama, and has a master’s degree in International Legal Studies with emphasis in International Business from the Washington Colle of Law from American University, in Washington, D.C.
Among other activities, he served as Legal Advisor in the Ministry of Housing of the Republic of Panama and participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program of the Department of State of the United States of America. In September 2021, he had the privilege of giving a lecture at the West Point Military Academy.
Mr. Levy has been a member and director of the Active Club 20-30 of Panama (non-profit organization) and Second Vice President of the National Bar Association of Panama.
Since October 2019, Mr. Levy serves as Consul General of the Republic of Panama in New York with jurisdiction over the States of New York, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont, and Massachusetts.
Prior to his appointment as Consul General he was Partner at the Law Firm Levy & Levy.
