Willie Panamá is an international artist , singer , composer, musician and movie actor he’s an all around artist in the genre of salsa and latin jazz
Willie is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a Former U.S. Justice Department Detention and Deportation Officer.
In 1995 , he started his solo career as a singer and has worked with the best in the music industry.
Has recorded in 16 music productions of different styles of music
Has been invited by Danilo Perez to teach master classes for the Panama’ Jazz Festival
Has performed in the Madison Square Garden , Lincoln Center and the famous International Film Festival in Cannes France.
Toured all over Europe , Canada the Caribbean and South America
As an actor he’s a SAG member and as a composer he’s a ASCAP member
He’s also a percussionists and has been an exclusive artist for renowned companies such as Sabian , Gon Bops and Tycoon.
He shared the big screen with actors such as Denzel Washington in Malcom X , Jamie Foxx in Any Given Sunday , Engaging , Chat , and El Padre Alberto
Was one of the singers for the Tributo a la Salsa Colombiana that receive a Golden record in Mexico for a composition he co -wrote for the album.
Has shared the stage with Oscar D Leon , DLG , El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Gilberto Santa Rosa , Don Omar , Orquesta La Luz of Japan , Sergio George , Alberto Barros , Maelo Ruiz , Andy Montañez , Alfredo de La Fe’ ,Adalberto Santiago, Los Van Van de Cuba and the list goes on !
He’s acquainted with jazz , rock and country legends such as Billy Gibbons , Herbie Hancock , Billy Ray Cyrus , from Cuba Omara Portuondo and Chucho Valdes and the list goes on
Willie Panama’ has been recognized by the United States Congress by receiving a Congressional Recognition , the Mayor of the City of New York , the Senator of the State of Florida , the Governor of the State of Florida , Mayors in Cities of Miami Florida , Ambassadors , Consuls , Mayor and the Governor of the Republic of Panama’.
In 2016 was appointed the Grand Marshall for the Panama’ Parade in Brooklyn New York and the Grand Marshall for the Hispanic Parade in Manhattan New York
Has worked and performed for super music producer Emilio Estefan Jr. and he’s currently performing in his Keep it Moving Tour 2022.
