Jimmy McCormack H., affectionately known as "Jimmy Mack," is an accomplished accounting professional and community leader. Born in Colón, Panamá, to a pharmacist father of Jamaican descent and a teacher mother of Colombian ancestry, Jimmy is the ninth of eleven siblings. He pursued higher education while working full-time, graduating with a bachelor's degree in accounting from the National Panamanian University and becoming a certified public accountant (CPA).
Jimmy Mack's career spans various industries, including tech, banking, and property management. He worked at Tecnasa, Ancon Credit Union, Atlantic Security Bank, and West Harlem Group Assistance, where he served as Assistant Controller. In the mid-1990s, he established his own accounting practice, which he continues to run today.
Jimmy Mack’s is also a dedicated community leader, founding and presiding over the Brooklyn Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He has served as a New York City Commissioner for the Latin Media and Entertainment Commission, alongside notable figures like Jennifer Lopez and Robert De Niro. He has also acted as a liaison between the New York City Fire Department and the Benemerito Cuerpo de Bomberos de Panamá and served as the Grand Marshal of the Hispanic Day Parade in Manhattan for Sociedad Molas de Panamá.
With over 26 years of service to the Brooklyn community, particularly its Panamanian population, Jimmy has demonstrated a deep commitment to promoting Panamá's brand and supporting local businesses. His achievements and dedication have made him a respected figure in both the accounting and community leadership spheres.
