ABOUT DICPNY
The Day of Independence Committee of Panamanians in New York (DICPNY) is a non-profit organization established in 1995. Our mission is to showcase the significant contributions of Panamanians in New York and celebrate our vibrant Panamanian culture.

121 Years of Separation of Panamá from Colombia.
The Panamanian Parade in Brooklyn is the largest of its kind globally, outside of Panamá. The parade features a diverse range of participants, including community organizations, folkloric groups, schools, marching bands, and elected officials from the U.S. and Panamá.
PARADE ROUTE
The parade proceeds along Franklin Avenue (affectionately known as Little Panamá) to President Street, where performers from Panamá and across the U.S. will showcase their talents before the judges' review stage.
STREET FESTIVAL
The grand parade culminates in a spectacular Street Festival at Classon Avenue and Eastern Parkway. The festivities include:
